Materials needed
Background - 18 squares of fabric 10 3/4″ by 10 3/4″ (I just divide the width of the material into 4 so as not to waste)
Window patches - 36 squares fabric of contrasting color ( cut 12 pcs diagonally to make 24 triangles)
15″ by 17 1/2″ for cushion back
15″ square of material for binding
14″ zipper

Fold the edges 1/4″ in and press. Then fold the square into 4 and press again to mark the center of the square. Fold the 4 corners to the center and secure with a few stitches.Fold again towards the center of the other side and stitch.
Fold 18 such squares needed for 2 pairs of cushions. Each folded square is approximately 5″ by 5″. Pic 5With right (front) sides facing together stitch the squares together.
Pic 6Join 3 squares together in a row and then join lengthwise to form 3 by 3 squares to make a block of 9 squares. cw7.jpgPin a window patch diagonally on top of the seam of 2 folded squares.Fold the edge towards the inside and stitch.
