Alternate 13 green and 12 pink ribbons beginning and ending with green on the adhesive interfacing. Iron a little at the end or tack them to keep them in place.
Work pattern as follows
1st row : weave under 2, over 2, under 2 and repeat until end
2nd row : weave under 1, over 2, under 2 and repeat process
3rd row : weave over 2, under 2 ,over 2, and repeat process
4th row : weave over 1, under 2, over 2, and repeat process.
Trim the edges neatly and tack on the backing. Neaten the edges.
Join the 4 side strips to the 4 sides of the weaved ribbons and machine. Then join the sides as shown in the fourth picture and trim the unwanted triangles.Neaten. 
Place the big plain backing on the wrong side and neaten the whole cushion front.
Sew zip between the 2 back pieces and after neatened the sides, sew together the back and front pieces with right sides together.
Size of the weaved area is 6.5 in by 6.5 in. And the sewn cushion fits 14in by 14 in cushion insert.
