Pay It Forward

News Add comments

Hi all,

My apologies for the absence and inaction. I am usually behind my laptop doing a little here and there, surfing websites and visiting friends’ blogs. Only I have not been doing any sewing. Christmas is coming and I can see fellow sewing moms and daughters are frantically trying to beat the Christmas datelines.

I don’t celebrate Christmas, so I only have deadlines Laughing. So the reason behind my inaction. The other day, I went to fellow blogger’s site, sewgoodsewfar.com and she promised to make a handmade gift to the first 3 persons who commented in her blog to request for PIF (Pay it Forward) exchange. Too bad for me I was the 5th to comment.

For info, this exchange is based on the concept of the movie “Pay it Forward” where acts or deeds of kindness are done without expecting something in return.

As I am also a PIF person, I also feel like doing it too. I will sew a small handmade gift for the first 3 to comment on this blog post. The good thing is the commentator has the option not to join this exchange chain to make gifts for others. But if you choose to pay it forward you are certainly most welcome.

WelcomeSew, what are you waiting for? Anyone is welcome to comment and get a little present from me.

Warm regards,
Fatiah

PS - By the way, the “Welcome” wallhang is a shadow applique where I used organza material over
the appliqued patterns of the geese sewn on the the American  cotton.

What a great idea! I’m not commenting for the gift, so you can feel free to skip over me, I just wanted to say that this is a very neat idea and I commend you on your efforts.

My cats and dog are too usual to receive something for every movement, so that I don’t know now what to do with themб because they are extortioner now and want do anything without a gift from my site. It’s normally a sausage or a bisquit… :)))

It would be very nice to have a reminder from you, but I think it will be too expencive for you. So better gift a nice photo and I will publish it. Mmmm?

Don’t worry Liudmilla, will make something small and light which will not cost me a bomb to send to Europe.
