Can you live without your mobile?

Video Add comments

My kids pcs are both down for quite sometimes and I have not got them repired as I see no urgency as my laptop is available. I myself has been busy and also has not been well for the last few weeks  to do any blogging. And I just rely on  my wifi phone to surf the net. But it is not so convenient to do blogging as the phone is rather small compare to a pc or laptop. Now I am feeling much better  and needing my laptop I must make a priority to get someone to repair the pcs before my laptop suffers at the heavy usage of my kids hands.

Right now I am sad and sort of at the bottom of the pit as I have just lost my beloved Nokia E61i yesterday. I am not a heavy mobile phone user as it’s more of being able for the hubby and kids to reach me or me to contact them. I send about an average of 10 to 12 messages a day but my wifi phone is good for surfing internet and reading blogs at bedtime or when I am resting on the sofa.

Upon reaching home yesterday and realized that my phone is gone for good I called my telco to suspend my line temporarily. I was feeling really down and didn’t feel like doing anything and had an early night. There is some sort of emptiness without my mobile and I wonder how long I can survive without one.

So how about you? Can you live without your laptop/pc or your mobile? Me, probably can for a few days! Life is just too lonely without these tech gadgets. Loosing a mobile to me is just like loosing a good friend.

Ufff…what a terrible video! Poor boy, it’s so bad to burn something. Bad feeling.

Thank you, Fatiah, that you found time to visit my new site. It will be better with time, I opend it only some days ago.

The little losts make us suffer, you are right. It’s a sad event. I have not a good mobile phone, I don’t need it because I’m always at home, so I don’t feel addicted with it. But when I can’t stay near PC it’s a tragedy. Specially now when it is brocken so too often and I have to write every day…My husband says I’m computer-dipendant.

I can, at least for a week….in the case where I have to attend team building course somewhere in the jungle, current lifestyle requires many gadgets and tools. ergh, is it natural sign of human intelligence or weakness?

Fatiah, could you help me pls, I don’t know how to do knots in the right way and on elastic cord. Do you know where I could find these explanations? Hep me pls…

Etomyam- I wouldn’t say it’s human weakness even though our dependence on these tech gadgets have definitely sky-rocketed over these few years to match our fast-moving lifestyle and techie environment. Even though I may not be a techie, I find computers and smartphones make my life easier.

Hi Liudmila, normally when I tie a knot I will put a little glue on the knot. Try if the site if it helps, paste the add in your browser.

    Hi Fatia,

I am so sorry to hear you have lost your hp. I remembered you were so excited and we were all oogling at it when you first brought it to class.

I can resonate with your feelings coz a few months back I also thought I’ve lost my Dopod but I had a happy ending after a couple of weeks, It was found in one of my travel cases…now, how did I missed it?

I found out I can easily be without mobile. Without PC (in my case laptop) it is much more harder, since I use it as connection to the world, even because of the lack of using mobile.

I am sorry that you lost your mobile, I know well how it feels; I hope you can find even better one.

The reason why I was upset was because mine was a wifi phone which I use instead of my laptop to surf in bed. I still haven’t decided what I should get now and meanwhile back to wifi-less old Sony Ericsson.
